All the animals are finished in an on farm feedlot before they are sent into the market in Lusaka. The aim is to sell all cull bulls, and steers at roughly 15 months of age at 450kgs live weight into the market. All the females have to produce a calf annually. They have to have calved by 36 months, and then they are given one chance to miss a calving otherwise they are sent to the feedlot, as part of our strict selection policy.
