Since sustainability is one of the primary objectives of Lwimba Ranch we have begun an extensive conversion of poor fields into pasture.  We have focused on Katambora and Giant Rhodes Grass varieties in our pursuit for maximum utilization of ranch resources. Grass production provides us with added food security in the form of bales. We have enough bales to sustain our herd through the dry months and to supply other commercial cattle and horse farmers.
